I have just purchased a E6400 version 3b.Can any one tell me how much the v4.1 upgrade is.
I also need to know what is the max size scsi hardrive i can put into my beast. It did not come with a manual, and i could only find a E6400 Ultra manual on the net, could someone point me in the right direction for a non ultra manual.
Thanx... INCREASE THE PEACE

Hi,

The largest hard drive an E-mu can address is 18 GB. However, this is with version 4 of EOS. I think that earlier versions could only address smaller disks but I may be mistaken as I own an E5000 Ultra.

Goto to emu's site and e-mail them any questions. The upgrade is $100 because it requires more system memory. They also have the old manuels for around $20. Guitar Center ordered one for me.

I went to E-mu and the info and products for the e-6400 are there. Goto products, then options, and find the e-6400 on the drop down list. All the upgrades and manuals are available. The manual is $20, and the ver4.1 os is $89, and $129 w/eos link software included. You can buy directly from there.

Hmmm ......well I have EOS4.10 installed in my 6400 right here, its definately *not* 4.01 cos I`ve installed a couple of newer OSs since then. The RFX comes with 4.5 I think.Just about to send you a mail horizens.
