Question for you ultra users: Is the sequencer in this sampler any useful for working out ideas? I am often not at home and I am planning to carry an ultra with me. I don't have a laptop...

I haven`t played with it much 2 b honest, but yes, providing u have a keyboard with u, u *can* kinda get any ideas u have down. I dont thin kit has aby kinda step recording mind, but it does quantize (it even has swing quantize) so its workable IMO.
