sure, but remember, esi4000 is a product at the end of its lifespan, its being sold for half of what it did when it first came out. i dont know the conversion on deutchmarks, but in the us an NOS esi4000 goes for 850 and ive seen esi2000s advertised at 899. that means that the 2000 probably lists at 1000, and the 4000 listed at 1600.
the decrease in list price tells me that they probably re-engineered for parts cost.
id rather have a 4000. My guess is that the parts are of better quality. Besides, it just LOOKS better. the 2000 is ugly imho.
