I just got a powerbook and want to put together a recording studio- what can I do, do I need a PCMCIA-PCI convertor to install a good digital pro quality sound card? I need help bad-

duno alot about mac's, but.... there are few makers of lappy audio bitz...and they cost alot.... so try Roland..... i know they do one... (dunno if all pcmcia cards are compatible between mac's & pc's.....???)..... but i know they make one of the best (and one of the only ones).... for the pc.... does the lappy come with a decent audio out (the same as the standard mac audio out?......

yes, it has an O.K. Audio out, but its not sufficient for pro recording
