Anyone tried to change the floppy drive for a zipdrive in the mpc2000 (not xl) cabinet?
I'm using a external zipdrive plus and this works fine, but it would be nice to have a built-in one. =)

Try going to www.midicase.com

There is some description on getting it to work on an MPC2000XL. I don't know about the orig MPC20000.

Hmm I don't remember the MPC 2000 having an internal SCSI connecter
also Iomega is no longer making internal SCSI drives the XL is using IDE
so I would have to say no.

There are IDE to SCSI adapters that you can get too. I believe that is what the guy at the midicase site is using.

ok so neverfuckingmind. this jerk sent me a FUCKING CD with the instructions on it. the description was for a KIT that had "everything you need to install an internal zip in your MPC" minus the zip drive of course.

and he sends me a damn CDrom with instructions on it. Im PISSED
