I'm looking for a decent sampler and I am able to buy an Akai
CD3000 and Emu Esi 32 sampler for the same price, around
23000 Belgian Francs, £350 or $700. Which one should I consider?

Well Bartjen,

the CD3000 is a sample PLAYER, it's not actually a sampler so just
forget this option.
