This probably has been dealt with thousands of times, but I have just downloaded MESA for PC and can't get the damn thing to find my Sampler (CD3000XL)

I start the Sampler on first. Switch the MIDI via SCSI on and select local SCSI ID=4. Boot up the PC and see the Sampler reacting (CD LED) so they must communicate, but it looks like the Sampler is not being registered as a device and hence MESA won't find it.

Have got MESA + latest dlls and want to crack on.

Anybody can help or point me in the right direction? I really would appreciate it!

try downloading Mesa 1.2 for the PC from www.akai.com
