is there a limit to the size of the harddrive that can be used with my s2000?
im trying to format a 2 gig jazz but it always comes up with a format error.
the scsi id's are set properly

i was told you may never format removable media with your sampler. It is enough to arrange it. Keep the dos-formatting. Those removable media can't handle the akai-format well, it may cause damage.
What your problems concerns......READ THE MANUAL!!!
Scsi media with capacity of 500 mB max.!!!
Why?don't know.

yea i had read that in the manual..
but i was hoping (like computers) it would just read up too the 500 megs and ignore the rest..
