This girl dropped down from heaven
I've always felt that music is music no matter what the genre or where it comes from. I've played
Indian music, jazz, Brazilian, African, and European classical. My attempts at electronic dance
music failed but I started that in my mid 40s and still wonder if I'll try again. Never give up they
say. But I've never been into country western music yet here is a woman who seems to have
dropped down from the heavens. She won 5 grammy awards last year. She did a cd with
Robert Plant. I became aware of her about 3 years ago but listening to some of her tracks again
do nothing less than put tears in my eyes. I believe that electronic music is the uber alles of
music but no matter what the venue of music one plays one can sit in awe and be inspired by
