anyways k....quite honestly i'm a little surprised you'd be sooo... into this anti-mac thing to the point of resembling/sounding like a microsoft rep.
there are lots of people who use macs because they haven't the time or technical acumen to wanna learn code or get out our pocket-pals....etc.
it's basically a nice simple machine to grasp and operate.
some people just wanna have a ride that works...gets us to the store...no mess...you get the point.
not everyone wants to be a nerd.
i've owned 2 pcs and i enjoyed the thrills i had while they worked. i've also seen them both go down with no hope of recovery>>and yet i'll probably own one again someday. i don't rib people because they own a pc.
just like i don't ride em for owning a chevy ford jap kraut car etc....black girlfriend etc.
i'm of the belief if you're here to educate and illuminate then you should do so without
all the hee hee ho ho hyper-hyenaisms which seem so prevalent here....as they really
serve no purpose except to fill the jollies of the directionless.... of which there is an undeniable abundance here.
usually it's that little gallery which puts out a track or two a year but still wanna be heard. tisk. really.
to suggest implicitly that you had no part to play in the mp3/play mess is wrong...since it was at the time you got 7161 going that many systems started to experience failures with song/file-play.
these are documented in the threads and i'm sure there were others which grieved more privately perhaps.......whatever.
everything worked fine til you coded this new aspect into dancetech/7161.
and frankly...i still don't understand why it's TWO sites when they're basically the same.
so sure...real player sucks...but it always has and yet i used to be able to play tunes at dancetech in the usual manner. not anymore.
you want people to pay to register and use this site....or 7161...whatever site it is>>>well..... sure fair's fair. but as yet....
all i'm getting is the inability to play songs in the normal manner and heee hee ho ho...poor sod.
it's your gig man.
do as you see fit.
in the meantime....i'll use my old mac.
in fact...now more than ever.
btw> i think acid has jobs for mac haters.
how creative.
