i never said totally pointless.....but this works just as well...the forum. you tell me you guys are in the room "all the time" and that's really what i'm talking about. i'd probably be in "there..."all the time" too! i dig a good, if even goofy, debate sometimes> and here it's something everyone can check later.
a response would still be there even after i got home from work.

You seem both productive and emotionaly stable (in so far as such conclusions can be met on-line). There's tons of emotionaly unstable people... lots of them take drugs... this doesn't make drugs bad. It's an idiots arguement.
