Influx, I would sell it for at least $10. You might sell it to some of the peeps here who are short of cash right now for $7, but I've never seen people selling their cds for $7.

I keep thinking, imagine a lawyer giving away that much time for $7. And most of them don't even put in the level of sincere effort that you have put into your tracks. Of course most of them hate their jobs, other people and themselves, so they need to get compensated somewhere for the general dis-service they do for society.

Not trying to tell you how much to sell your music for....oh...wait a minute....Yes I am!

depending on what it cost me to have them done proper like I would only want to turn a $2 or $3 profit.

$10 is too much for 5 songs I think...

funny thing is, Ive seen people selling their demos in EM and the like for $15-$17.

isnt that retail price pretty much? I want to buck the system as much as I possibly can, so coming in well under what other people are doing is where Im comin from. Im not here to get wealthy.

Why do people do "bump"? I've forgotten. Saw that the other day in the music tech forum I think.

I guess I just wish to see you and other musicians receive what you deserve for all the hard work. There's a guy I work with, really nice guy, but one thing bugs me about him. He's always asking me if I've picked up any new cds because he wants to copy them for something copied of his in return. The only time I've heard him say he's bought a cd is the one he told me he got on sale for $2.99. I always tell him I haven't gotten anything new even if I have. Musicians need to earn money too.

im not being pushy. I want to sell this record. Not so much as a money maker but just to get it out there. I really thought there would be more support from this site.

you know..sitar..."musicians" are NOT making money off those CD sales...the vast majority of them never see a DIME from sales...

I struggle with that, but...I have started to copy stuff on big labels. FUCK THEM

small labels, well...if they arent a subsidiary...then thats different.

I guess enough people here hate my attitude enough not to be interested
