sorry trill but I find princes "sexuality" all about theatrics and over-the-top cliches

I know it's an act. That's one of the best points about being a live performer. All I'm saying is that there's a certain sexiness when prince dances, unlike the certain creepiness of MJ.

i totaly agree with Pongoid! But how much of "off the wall" was Michael, and how much was quincy jones?

My vote? Prince! He's always been brilliant, his performance is always 100% and have any of you read/heard interviews with the people who work with with him? He's a savant!

they all have their moments though... JB made it POPULAR, you gotta give it up there.

But kids, for musicality and innovation go forth and get ye some LOU DONALDSON records... the king of funk, guys. JB sites him as THE influence.

MJ is a great dancer, but has a limited range of set moves - I've seen prince 3 times and MJ would drop down dead of a heart attack if he tried to keep up with prince.

seen footage of JB in his prime??? W/ the
gold cape and the crazy footwork?!? He
HYPED his audiences like the fuggin Beatles.
C'mon I can't believe no one's mentioned all
that! And vocal skillz wise, he may not have
Prince's awesome range but his style is so
distict and fierce...you know you've tried some
JB grunts in the shower, ha!

So for me, James Brown wins. With Prince a
close 2nd. MJ's not even close, even tho Off
the Wall is a dope record.
