Say, do you all get that "new hardware found" message when starting up your PC, and it recognises your sampler. is there any way to make the sampler stay in your device manager, without having to "install" it every time?

do you know what i mean?

There is already a dummy device in Windows to cater for this. You don't need another dummy driver.

Kurzweil's website gives instructions to solve this problem. It's a stupid thing where Windows wants a driver for every device on a SCSI chain, even if it doesn't exist.

Go to http://www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com/html/scsi_help.html#Unknown Device and have a look at the info.

It's a SCSI problem, nothing to do with the specific hardware itself, so the instructions will work for any beast.
