It was the love on the first sight.
When I've heard the sounds in the shop (I had JP8080
for full weekend and returned it the same Monday I have heard SN.)I knew I hat to have it. 8080 didn't create for me any excitement at all. It was typical Roland sound and I do have 4 Rolands all ready! Enough!
Sound of SN very rarely do need any EQ. SN sounds
are ready to work on the mix. SN lacked a bit grit and punch, but... I had Rolands, K2500R, Ensonic ASR 10 and PTools to get it right.
New OS 4.1 is a very nice bonus added for free to my loved a lot SN. I didn't buy it because I saw an add for few extra buttons. I didn't buy it because I saw a promise about future upgrades.
With new OS I love that synth even more.
Pardon my English... I'm to old for it. Also, learning sound synthesis, EQ and the way to make right mix is far more important to me than English grammar! ;-P

My sarcasm is directed to those who bought SN and... didn't like it. You have to be mad to buy synth you do not like in the first place!
