Hello fellow analog heads,

I'm looking for a good noisemaker synth;
something with modulation capabilities and
such. I'm thinking Pro-One or ARP 2600... But
I'm not sure.

I want to have a board where I can make
sounds that have the ability to show the
personality of the tweaker.

thanks. peace!

well, thanks guys for the ideas and tips!

I've decided that I'm going to go for a JD-990
(last synth I would have thought of, heh heh)...

After looking into the Q rack (which I want) - I
couldn't find it for a reasonable price in my
price range. The Uq on the other hand is
cheap - but it lacks the touchy feely setup as
with the qrack (lots knobs) - that I need.

I think I'll settle for a modular later on... Once I
understand the power of the JD-990 - I'll look
into true analogs to fill warmth and wildness.
But from what I've heard and played, the JD is
great at SFX and atmospheres... I must get the
Vintage Synth card with it too...
