Hewland International are making a 14 part television series for ITV called 'THE HISTORY OF DANCE MUSIC'. Taking an hour each show to look in depth at a year (from 1988-2001), the series will be playing the top 10 dance tracks of that year as well as interviewing the musicians and fans of the music.

Can you help? Did you create the hit tracks? Did you spend far too much time dancing to them!? What are your recollections of this time?

We'd love to hear from you!

BBC has a series called the history of roch-n-roll . episode 10 is called the perfect beat and talks about the transition from disco and punk into new-wave and electro with the advent of midi drum machines and sequencers as well as sampling. great documentory with artist like kraftwerk and africa bambada. Frankie Knuckles etc.

heh heh - the good ol' beed usually get it right, but then THEY SPEND MONEY GETTING IT RIGHT.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
