Yeah! Mostly for grafik design tho but still...I could see a copy of reason sneaking it's way on to the hard-drive. Specs? G4/867 dual-processor(!)256/60/Combo/Geforce4MX/56K, factory refurbished, 1 year factory warr, uh huh, yeah, and all that. How much!? $1400, which I think is a pretty good deal. Out here in SF Bay area, there are more WTB ads than for sale when it comes to G4s, sheesh.

So now all that sneaking around copying s/w from my work will finally pay off HEE HEE!!!

Don't worry, I'm still 100% PC when it comes to my music, hell yeah.

hehehe. congrats brad. the MAJOR reason my music computer is a pc is so that I wouldn't install quark, photoshop, etc.. on it. there is some mac music software I wouldn't mind fuckin with.

ha ha- s'funny b/c I *have* quark, photoshop, etc all on this PC- this piece of shit in my room...the real rack-mounted music PC is in my garage/studio downstairs. You know it's for music b/c it's rack-mounted, heh.

Yeah I started doing music on a pc b/c I could get all this groovey freeware like fast-tracker II and rubberduck, and also didn't have the loot for a mac. Macs are cool as shit tho- I don't know what it is, but all the graphics proggies just *feel* better on a mac.

For me personally, I just have to dedicate my machines for specific uses- studio pc for music ONLY, mac for design only, and this one i'm on right now, hmmm, maybe a giant mp3 and porn storage unit ;-)reformat the drive and it'll be a huge download dumpster.

Oh BTW the way, mac's are just SO much more classy, not like you beige microserfs. straight to influx's head! heh heh, kiddin.

I find myself in a similar yet different situation. I just
bought a Mac strictly for music and somehow
Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash have found their way
onto the hard drive.

Actually, come to think of it, I can't even remember why
I bought it. Maybe I just bought it to download porn on
