nah, this was sequenced with logic. In fact I just built a whole bunch of loops in fruity, and resampled them into the a3k, then laid them out across the keyboard and played the sequences into Logic, then tapped out a line of kicks and snares in the Xbase, and just switched patterns on my 606 live as the sequence played while recording. I kinda feel like I cheated it was so easy. LOL Less than 24 hrs. start to finish. I could have sequenced this on an mmt8, but visualizing it was way easier for touching up things. All the sound was hardware. Bad monitors, and poorly adjusted T-racks. It's just a roughly compressed version. When it's time to REALLY do the mastering, I'll do it right. ;)

I was wondering about the recording part, too...

it sounds like it might be just a bit bassy, but hey...nothin wrong with that, is there?

Ive already listened to it 5 times

Yeah, that's a really tight sound, Pongoid. Very impressed.
Keep it up.

I'm really glad y'all like it. I like fat bass. I used the Q throwing a sine wave and the MW one octave above it with a fatter mid'ied sound to thicken and warm it a bit. I'd like to do a better compression job, but need the room, monitors, and the tools. Just got an ASR10 today too, so you can expect even better sound quality in the samples from here on out.   Second MMT8 too, so badder live sets as well.
