Some people say that the future 777 is better and could do the same job as a 303 (for same or less price with a better midi connection...) ?
Any experience ??

Personnaly my motto is if you really want the tb sound get a TB-303... I'd like to have a 777 though, heard much praise. (It's more diverse than the 303- doh)

I don't own a 777, but I've borrowed one for a month from a mate and no way is it better than a 303 at sounding like a 303!!!

True, you can get similar results using the 303ish patches and tweeking (Sounds better through distortion and such) but it just isn't 'bubbly' enough or 'round' enough when running dry and the sequencer just isn't as much fun to (randomly) program. I hate the 777 sequencer, personally.

It is better at sounding like other things.

It's a nice box to fart around with, but it's not the 303 beater that it's hyped to be.

ahaha ! nice boo !

Yes it was in us $, I hadn't the chance to get it for 50 $ from a poor guy in singapour (I read something like this in a forum: ). It will be my new passion : go to places where sellers doesn't know a clue about his value in a far country...

You paid $800?

They are $777 us brand new. That's how much my friend paid. And he had it custom painted and signed by the makers.

Where are you isham? Not in the US, I take it...
