Hi,

I'm looking for an effects unit with:

- Chorus/Flanger
- Delay
- Reverb
- Distortion
- Resonant Filters (preferably 24dB)

Price class: 250$-750$

Any suggestions?

Greetings,

Cyrex / FMC

You can't lose with lexicon or TC, but if you can find a used ensonic DP4 you would be set. Awsome vocoder and flanges. Never used the reverbs on it.

TC M2000 should come into range 2nd hand nowadays also. Boss VF1 is nice for a cheapie too, excellent distortion and delay based stuff, shame about the verbs but its still great for creative efx.

heh, I quite like the verbs on sometimes, like for a big splashy one-off verb on something but it dont seem smooth enough to use much. Still, they`re cheap and sound great.

Buy one. All of you. Now.

ok, don`t then.

Seriously, the Sony DPSV (I think) deserves a look. That box has gorgeous reverbs, and can independantly process 4 mono signals. It sounds great and at about $400-500 US you can't really beat it.
