This is a typical 2-step pattern, it's also used heaps in
DnB and NuSkoolBreakz.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

try that one too - note the swing on the 16ths. Also, pay a lot of attention to the tuning of the drums.

Why does 2-step gate their snares so tightly - its an RnB thing or something.

because they can.. heh heh... it's part of the sound.. very chopped up and open with lots of gaps you cant get the feel with long decays.. and thats important for ANY styles... decay times o drums especialy hats are critical to the feel of the groove...
