My friend... I really feel for you. I spent 3 months agonizing over those horrible error messages. "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" Steinberg's tech support was useless. They sent me a new parallel port hoping to resolve conflicts between my MIDI Translator PC and my Steinberg Dongle. Didn't work. It turned out to be a series of problems. Many of those can be resolved by checking Dan Duskin's checklist (link from www.steinberg.net user's area). If you e-mail me more specifics about what's going wrong I'll try and help. Good luck and be patient. These things tend to take a while to resolve. Peace, Sean

Have you tried saving your audio stuff in the "Songs.all" category?

Your system is fucked then - or you're using the demo!
