We're a unique blend of rock and smart-pop, with influences including, weezer, failure, year of the rabbit, on, autolux, death cab for cutie, the postal service, 311, nirvana, green day, red hot chilli peppers. We were formed as mark on guitar and singing, matt on guitar and singing as well, mike on bass, and no drummer, in early 2004. Our quest for a drummer and band name ended in december 2004 when we "recruited" stephen to play drums and matt made the name "the rhetts"
