MPC-Samples.com are proud to announce the release of ‘Hip Hop Evolution’, a drum library containing 396 drums inspired by the production style of Pete Rock.

Created specifically for the Akai MPC range of samplers, this collection consists of three distinct sections:

• An extensive drum library containing 336 snares, hats, kicks and percussion sounds
• 20 ‘kick-hat-snare’ kits laid out in MPC programs (adding a further 60 samples to the collection)
• 20 MPC beat sequences (in MIDI format) that take inspiration from Pete Rock’s unique drum programming style

Work Flow Benefits

The drum library is organised into instrument type, featuring fast loading MPC program files for fast previewing and loading into all MPCs.

The drum kits are all laid out in identical fashion allowing you to easily switch between different kits to quickly find the drum sound you need for your beat. Kits can be easily customised using the sounds in the drum library or by using drums from your existing drum libraries.

All sequences are standard MPC MIDI files with each instrument assigned to a unique track; this means they can be fully edited giving you the freedom to effortlessly change tempo, change events, and mix and match track data with your existing MPC projects.

Production Style

‘Hip Hop Evolution’ features crunchy, thumping drum sounds given a unique modern twist courtesy of MPC-Samples.com’s signature production style of complex layering and detailed dynamic processing.
