20-Oct-10 - New songs looking like new

Finally starting to upload tracks from the 2010 collection of songs, called "Birds and BEBE's Be: The
Lancashire Songs II".

All written in a guitar tuning of BEBEBE, hence the daft name for the album. The 'Birds' bit will become
apparent.

Just noticed that my old tracks are coming up on the 7161 home page.

I assume that is cos i have been updating the text on them. I haven't been posting them as new.

Anyway, listen if you like and thank you.

02-Oct-10 - Namaste and Salutations

Greetings and salutations, namaste.
Feck, so it is 2010. What happened to the last 3 years?
Well, i can tell you ... marriage, daughter, upheaval, separation. The works.
Good grist for the mill as Ram Dass would say.
I wrote hardly anything in that time. The tracks "In Confidence" and "Freedom" which i have posted.
I have a bunch of other songs for the collection that will be known as the Lancashire Songs 1, when i can
bring myself to record them.

Earlier this year, the muse finally returned. She entered the fray like your favourite lover and bestowed her
loving grace.

Result? 12 new songs all in the guitar tuning of BEBEBE.

I have recorded these and will be uploading them soon.

I am also getting motivated to go and play some open mikes for the first time in about 5 years. Pray for me!

27-Jul-07 - 'New' old songs uploaded

Hey there, how are you? I trust that all is well in your world.

I've uploaded some of my earliest recorded songs. In retrospect some of the performances sound a tad rough to my ears, but i like the songs themselves. I keep promising myself that i will re-record some of these songs now that i have had some singing lessons and i know my way around Cubase a bit more. Not got round to it yet though!

Anyway, i hope that there is something here that you can enjoy.
