Shifting time signatures of Synergy are strongly influenced by the big beat genre. This song was originally part of a longer mix devised as part of the background music for a chase scene. There was this kind of raw energy there and it just developed into this wild track when I worked with it some more.

Pangur Ban has contrapuntal bass lines reminiscent of big beat music and a fast paced energy the many associate with the likes of Prodigy and such. The name comes from a story about a famous celtic cat, it is from an old poem. Thank you to my mother for that name, she came up with it. =]
