FITZROVIAN PHONOGRAPHIC BANK HOLIDAY SPECIAL
Back again for the extra long bank holiday slot, last year’s two parties were the stuff of social legend. Joining us we have CONNAN AND THE MOCKASINS who played probably one of the finest sets of last at the bar – blew us all away, ARTHUR BRICK who sing songs about Bermondsey war veterans, night buses to Catford, 1950s homosexuals and religious fervour in the home counties. THE RUBBISHMEN who are, in their own words, vanguards of Victorian punk revivalism also play along with VINCENT OLIVER whose first show at the bar is long over due. On top of all that they’ll be Benjamin Swank in charge of phonographic entertainment throughout the night, which is always a treat. We’ll be opening early for this one, doors from 4pm - £5 entry.
