In the early morning hours of the Vietnamese lunar New Year celebrations in 1968 (31.01.1968) the North Vietnamese forces (Vietcong) began what is now widely know as the TET Offensive in many parts of the country, including Saigon. This was a turning point in the conflict, as public opinion in America turned against the war. It would not end until 1975. The Reel Banditos have decided to release an album titled Indochina that revolves around the subject of the Vietnam War. Each song will deal with a particular aspect of the conflict and leave it to the listener's imagination to come to their own conclusions. The Reel Banditos have released a free track called Viet Nam to promote their forthcoming album Indochina which will be available in spring 2008.
