| Yet another demo of a song that has a LONNNGGG history: I wrote it originally when I was getting seperated from the ex-Missus, and have revisitied it after each of my subsequent breakups! The lyrics, which are not included, are all about love lost and whatnot, but with an optimistic ending...
Regarding the various instruments: the guitars are the only thing that are really "done". The percussion tracks were done with a demo version of Alkali, using the supplied REX files -- they are intended as a guide for the real tracks to be recorded later. The bass is also a guide -- and YES, I know that I played a flat note in the bridge! I kinda like it, so I kept it.
My goal is to find a female singer with some power to lay down a vocal, and then add this to a collection of material I wanna use for a publiching deal. It's strange that although I am life-long rock player, I have been writing so much non-rock material lately...but I want to do something with it.
So, I offer this, my first DT posting, up to you all to tear apart and / or comment on. If you happen to like it, please let me know that, too...
