DJ Sharki (AKA Mr Dubplate)grew up in North London. He was aware of the underground seen at a young age and started break dancing and getting into Electro at the age of 11, from there he went on to rapping, mixing and scratching at the age of 14.
In the early 90's DJ Sharki then began to promote his own raves called 2 strong and fusion. In 1993 he put his attention into producing Jungle and released his first song on white label (morning rush)
