"Hurts" is a perfect example of why lo-fi is the most powerful genre you are ever likely to find. It is one of the biggest and one of the smallest tracks I've come across in a long time - the weight of the sentiment, carried quietly and without pretence, is offset by the shaking of a big kick and rolling open hat in turns.
