UPDATE (April 8, 2006): I have a new tune on this page. Get ready for my second video game tribute, cheekily titled "Justin Bailey."
I started producing drum 'n bass under this name in March of 2002; some of you might remember me as Loopy Lizard. The tune which really put me on the map was "Sunday Morning 10:30 a.m.", which was my attempt at a mixture of my Christian beliefs and drum 'n bass. It went over pretty well, and the maniacal preaching probably didn't hurt.
I had a few other songs which were successes in their own right, two of which were "Gull Liver's Travels" and "Another One Bites The Duck." They've received the most positive feedback of my career thus far, and "Gull Liver's Travels" even made it to television courtesy of the fine folks at ZeD. Heck, the people at New Music Canada got my songs on the radio three times, something for which I'm immensely grateful.
In 2004, though, something happened: I decided to quit drum 'n bass production, but not for good. I promised to return when I had enough money to get a better PC and also buy production software instead of acquiring it by other means. Thanks to getting a better tax refund than I expected, I've acquired that PC and the required software (i.e. FL Studio). Voila - I've now returned, as you can see. :-)
I mostly produce dancefloor-oriented drum 'n bass, though I like to emphasize the hooks that you'd be more likely to find in pop or rock songs. I've also been known to go into chilled territory once in a while. In any event, fun and enjoyment is the ultimate goal when I make tunes.
