What I do is Live-set (more traditionally known in the states as Live P.A)
and what I play is live electronic dance music.
I'm not a DJ but a musician/composer/performer, though my music and presentation is very similar to what a DJ does.
All of the music is original, played improvisationally and geared toward the dance floor.
Equipment used is all hardware based--grooveboxes,sequencers, samplers, effects, and keys.
The computer is used as a"tape recorder" for recording the LIVE-SET.
I tend play very diverse styles of music layering and mixing them into new forms which can, at times, defy categorization.
These styles include but our not limited to:
Breaks, jungle, Dnb, house, tekno, dub, hip-hop, glitch, downtempo and everything inbetween but sorry (if you're a fan)
NO Trance.
