Digital sins have been together 8months writing,producing,mixin and refining a varied group of 12-14 songs,what kind of songs?,well presumably ur guna listen anyhow but just incase u cant b assed I'll try to describe it.
Its dance based in the sense we use electronic beats,synths&rhyme alot but theres also lotsa ska basslines + some skankin guitar + a little rock thou not 2
heavy ,we use jungle breaks,hip hop beats,garage grooves,anything that wants 2 make us dance or least try to.Thou we are a band and will soon be performing live as 1 we dont write or record as a band so its basically a studio project that we then re-work in order to kick out the jams live[always wantd to say that].
I can't really say we write concious lyrics,there more out cold unconcious 2b honest,we try to approach most subject matter in a humourous way,not trying to be funny as such,just trying to talk about things that may have been dead serious to us in the past but now we can make a joke of,thou we do get our dpressin mad heads on sometimes.
After reading over what I've wrote below I believe it to now sound like a pretenious slightly ego-tistical rant but as Kerouac says in Naked lunch "dont edit yourself" so I've left it,feel free to insult me if you find it O.T.T.thank u plz.
Some bands love being labeled,after all ur guna get categorized if u "make it",some bands insist they can't be,of course most of these bands usually can be very easily,also we see to have a distinct line now between "acts " ,those considered to be bedroom studio projects,usually dance based and good old fashion bands,guitars,drums n rock n roll[usually].I don't particulary like goin out 2 watch a band only to be confrontd by a guy singin over a CD ,equally I'm sick of going out 2 watch the same ilk bred from pods,those endless cloned rock indie bands,I genuinely love allsorts of music but I want a show,not fake cocky attitudes or 3 chords over and over etc etc for opening band,support and headline.
So after saying that I've obviously come across like we're different,like we're special,like we're the shit,well, all I'll say is we're different,we're not completly original,who is? but we combine different elements in a original way & we can deliver the goods live&unless your specifically there to watch just a rock band we should be able to entertain you and your boyfriend/girlfriend/m8s girlfriend.
We want to put on the kinda display we'd like go out & see and thanks to some tight musicans in the band + the technology we sequence live we can pretty much garentee you will not have heard anything like it,yes indeed,we are gerbil virgin ass tight.

The only comments thats come up once or twice is some people saying some songs are Street-sy,I think that total bollox,our music is 100% different to his and basically its my voice on some tracks that brings up these comparisions basically cause I just like him rhymes very English and nothing like a traditional garage or D&B eMCee,but c'mon is every bloke thats white going to come out rhyming and sayin Oi! or geezer be accused of a streets rip-off....stupid question actually,yeh he probably is so I wont say it.
Regardless of which I do love the streets but we do not and will not eva[to me atleast] sound like him.We've also been called Madness on pills,or the beastie boys&lee perrys love children,also been called complete idiots although the term was actually Twat faced knumptys which is actually quite a good band name.

Our 1st demo has jus been completed [11/6/04]+3 more songs toward our second,after geting close 2 a deal wiv our previous 2 bands our founder members being Tdub &me Craig Derry want 2 b sure theres no filler,basically this time we are fully prepared.This time our team is set 2 overkill.

Mark burchill is the ears bhind the mixing desk in his cellar studio knocking out the kind of results we'd always been after[after knockin one out].
We'd always taken our other bands down 2 luvly sunny camden to cause a ruckus and generally wipe the dusty guitar bands up.Doing it live is where its at 4 us,So aswell as writing and mixing our demo's we're preparing our assualt on the capital so we've added Scat masta Mike [Sabey] to handle the live dubbin,mixin and run the technology&to cover the drums is John Finnigan who despite bein one of the younger members of the band has had most giggin xperience having toured europe with ska band Colonel hathi.Onstage Mark will cover the guitar dutys.
I'll b on the mic ,my stage name bein Chubby D,why?? I duno but they all call me it[its beta than c**tface] prolly cause I got a face like a chipmunk,I'd prefer sumink like Masta D the killer mic or MC gusto CB4 styley but there u go,I'm a tosser so it wudnt look rite.

I write all the musik cept for 1 so far in my hardcore luxury studio called the "strong big blue room jah bloodclot studio 1" othawise known as my stinky kleenex infested room in my mums house,lol@me,I rule!.Marks cellar has been fully converted to a musicans dream+some bondage hooks.We record all the vocals there,the sound is wikkid m8! like my trainers.
