I have been writing producing music now for more than 12 years, i first started just writing songs on my acoustic guitar, mainly folk travelling songs, i played and busked all over europe, literally i sang for my supper. In the summer of 1998 i formed another band "izakjad" mainly a semi-acoustic setup, from here i gradually moved into the engineering/studio side of the music, the rest i guess is history..I still work with my analogue gear, mixers, synths, but blend it with the digital realm, using mainly pc's to record and produce my music, which now is nearly all electronic, all but for the vocals and guitars, i still use the lovely novation A station to write alot of the pads and stranger synth sounds. The main genre is ? well experimental chillout i guess. The soundloops and media fx have been developed further, and i have had great feedback from the flash gurus who have used them in there projects. I must thank all of you who have supported the za media projects and have liked the music enough to buy or donate to the ongoing process of musical creation, be it full tracks or sound loop.
