Been making music for years, all styles, reggae & dance to rock & film score. Previously signed to Worlds End Management in Lots road Chelsea under Paul Brown. Live productions have appeared at venues such as Wembley Arena, Brixton Academy, Kentish Town Forum, and I have also featured on TV shows from the BBC, ITV, German WDR TV & Sky-TV.
Produced & engineered all the film score for many tv documentaries and films such as The Red Kebaya & International film festival winner A New Day In Old Sanna'a. Live recording engineer on release DVD of SENSER Live at the Camden Underworld. Plus a long history of recording and live engineering for various assorted bands both small-named and unsigned over the years across venues from the 100 Club & the Rock Garden to the Hope & Anchor, Ronnie Scotts & many more.
I use a variety of equipment, DAW & hardware systems. Starting with the early BBC Micro & Atari, moving on to Windows DAW systems and finally to Logic Pro on Mac. 3rd party plugins & instruments I use are from Ik Multimedia, Softube, Arturia & others.

Inspired by the legendary Motown EQ with EQ curves akin to those used in the illustrious Detroit studios, the MQ-1 & MQ-2 are 7 band proportional Q equalisers with 10dB cut and boost, but with added "CRUSH" to fatten the bass, add presence to the mids, and bring a shimmer to the top end.

Taking inspiration from the legendary ‘Motown EQ’, the MQ-1 is a single channel 7 band proportional Q Equaliser with EQ curves akin to the renowned EQ’s used in the illustrious Detroit studios in the 1960’s.
This 100% analogue EQ, features 7 bell curves, each having a variable cut/boost of ±10dB and set at the beautifully musical frequencies of the original.
The proportional-Q design ensures the bandwidth of each band adjusts automatically with gain, providing a more intuitive and musical EQ experience.
Added Crush
But it doesn’t stop there, what truly sets the MQ-1 apart is its inclusion of the highly regarded ‘CRUSH’ feature present on the Drawmer 1971. When you activate the crush circuit, get ready for some pleasing harmonic saturation and that classic analogue warmth that adds a ton of character to any signal passing through the unit. The result? It fattens up the bass, adds presence to the mids, and brings a delightful shimmer to the top end. The harder you drive the EQ the more Crush you’ll get!

The Drawmer MQ-2
Taking inspiration from the legendary ‘Motown EQ’, the MQ-2 is a stereo, 7 band proportional Q Equaliser with EQ curves akin to the renowned EQ’s used in the illustrious Detroit studios in the 1960’s.
However, the MQ-2 is not only an EQ, it also incorporates an effortless to use one knob compressor as well as added Crush harmonics to tame and add warmth to your audio.
This 100% analogue EQ, features 7 bell curves, each having a variable cut/boost of ±10dB and set at the beautifully musical frequencies of the original.
The one knob compressor is incredibly simple to use. Being programme dependant it will adapt the attack and release characteristics to the signal and alter the envelope to suit to tame the audio. In addition, it has an influence on the Crush feature - the more compression you use the more of the Crush effect you will get.
The EQ and compressor order can be swapped in the signal path to suit your preference.
With clear metering for both the compressor gain reduction and also the stereo output its easy to set the MQ-2 to the optimum levels.
Crush
But what truly sets the MQ-2 apart is its inclusion of the celebrated "CRUSH" circuit, featured on the Drawmer 1971.
Engage the CRUSH circuit, and the MQ-2 transforms into more than just an EQ and compressor — it evolves into a powerful saturation tool. Harmonic richness, subtle distortion, and that elusive "analogue warmth" is added to the signal, bringing new life and colour to anything that passes through this. It fattens up the bass, adds presence to the mids, and brings a delightful shimmer to the top end.
