overland6.mp3

I am really really struggling to come up with anything good, and have done for over 10 years.

Its been nearly 2 years since I've written a track, and then I come up with this...

Overland Part 6

Its not very reassuring. But at least its keeping the dust off the gear.

heh, hey guy very Yazoo the intro, but the drums take it away from that wholesale sound. Well balanced as usual for your stuff.

what you running now anyways? no new toys since the big akai sampler??

hey K. nice to see Dancetech back online, hope your doing good my friend.

Cheers for the listen and the comments.

Its all the same old kit I'm afraid. Half of it is breaking down. The Akai is unuseable because my iomega scsi zip drive died, which was the only way of saving off my programs and samples. Sure, i can use the CDROM drive to load samples up, but you feel a bit reluctant to use it because all that hard work will be lost as soon as you switch the thing off.

nah I had a look. its quite hard to find a scsi one, and when you do they want more than 100 quid for them ! has to be the scsi 250mb drive. shit loads of 100mb parallel drives, but not the one I want. Bah.

Despite the technical difficulties, I think this is a rather nice track!

At least not as depressed and hyperactive as the stuff I keep coming up with after 1.5 years of producing nothing

........I did post a comment on here last week which has disapeared????

Anyhow, great track, I really like this especially the bell sound which comes through so crisp & clear, kinda reminded me of the stuff, 'Lemon Jelly' do.

..........Wouldnt mind hearing some more of your stuff mate!

Nice work Jock fella!
