heh... well i cant believe it but i just posted a new tune after a short eternity.

you can find it here

i'm mostly curious how it sounds on your system? any comments regarding the mix or even music itself are most welcome

edit: i especially want to know about the bass on your system. I *think* the kick is too punchy, and there could be more sub bass, but it is almost impossible to judge in my room!

very solid kick... with a slight mid-range pronounced clicky hump in it. The bass is very well contained and not in anyway overly sub-bassy. The rest is well balanced and tight all round, there is overally a fractional midrange emphasis to the mix on my speakers, but they are only 5" bass units which mebbe accounts for the non-overly-pronounced bass-end to the whole mix. All the midrange sounds are well seperated, no clutter or overload.

Very tight overall, with not a whole lot of big spacial emphasis. Quite a 'dry' & tight mix. Nice one

Ok, 15 year old, banged up Kenwood headphones here, but the bass sounds all right... "punchy", but not muddy at all.

Nice track BTW! good to see something new from you

ps: organ-like lead sound starting around 3:40 is a bit loud here, you might want to pull down 1-1.5 db, or "soften it up" with some fx (?).
