I want to play percussion sounds on the Akai S1000 with a midi controller but the samples may not be pitched in the sampler due to the Midi note. You have to set the Midi to "constant pitch" which I did, but it still plays the sample in another pitch according to the Midi note it receives from the controller... What could be wrong? I don't understand...

Please help!
