Hello, what are the pros and cons of an
analog mixing board as to a digital mxing
board???

pro's for analog would be:

ability to drive inputs, quick hands on with a dedicated pot for all parameters.

cons would be: lack of recall, longer to setup a mix again and almost impossible to setup the exact same mix twice.

cons of digital would be: slow to work with menu's to step thru - not dedicated pots for all paremeters, inability to drive inputs

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

not necessarily tru on the inputs thing. I used to crunch up my O1v inputs all the time. sometimes it actually sounded good too!

true. because yamaha has gain stage pre A/D conversion, so the distortion is still analog. wish the same could be said for outputs...
