seen a long time ago. a designers synth, if you will... looks cute in every room of your appartement, but no idea if its actually good.

I think the Sidstation is a virtual sidstation of some sort. AFAIK the SID chips have been depleted permanently. We should go garage-sale raiding for all the commodore 64s we can find

It's not the sid station. They're out of chips for that! It's a suped up machinedrum with a synth and an awful ergonomic nightmare!!!!

hey,

(a) influx: seriously?!

(b) has anyone hear actually heard/used the monomachine?

from what i gathered, it's a synth-version of the machinedrum (i.e probably same seq/os, but insetad of each machine being a different drum-synthesis-algorithms, the machines are melodic/"instrument"-synthesis-algos (i.e subtractive, FM, etc...)

of course i have actually zero idea, please correct me.

p.s - if they discontinue the machinedrum before i manage to find the cash to buy one, i'm going to have to kill somebody..
